I was in that show as well, but only for a brief second. I watched Tanner to that run live. As beautiful and rare as that car is, it was slow. I think Steve's Audi could run with it. It is amazing the leaps cars have come since that production in speed, etc. But, that car still brings more money.

Is that a stock number? I believe that car had like 460 or something. I recall Tanner saying, and it was posted at the mile, but don't remember. On a track, it would hang with most anything.

I know they planned to build one. I know it was a direct aim at the Veyron. That was also when they were taking over VW and would own Bug. Now, I don't know what they will do. It would not shock me to see it show up in the near future, or it would not shock me to see it canned due to new ownership situation. With them making Roxsters and new 914's, I don't see a "Heavy" car coming from them, but I have been fooled.

I was expecting it to go faster than that. I think my Z06 could hit that speed in 1 mile....
